Home birth for the goddess that you are begins with preparation. Prenatal care is provided throughout the pregnancy with monthly, biweekly, and weekly visits in your home or our office space to assess the impact of the pregnancy on your body. We monitor your vitals along with baby's growth and heart rate.The midwife and birth assistant attend your home birth and provide immediate postpartum and newborn care. During the postpartum stage, Midwife KaTina will visit multiple times to aid with all the new changes and your healing. We bring our own supplies. Our number one goal is safety and we partner with you to accomplish this in addition to your goals and bringing baby earthside with plenty of love. You can expect to be educated and empowered. 

Monitrice services are provided by our midwife to support you during labor if you have chosen to birth in a birth center or hospital but want additional support from Midwife KaTina. This is similar to a doula but the midwife is able to monitor your labor progress and baby's status during labor along with providing education and advocating for you throughout your pregnancy. This package does require you to have a primary OB provider actively taking care of you and delivering your baby.

Traditionally known as the well woman exam, we welcome you in for your annual exam and pap smear. You will experience a gentle full physical exam without the stirrups. Let's discuss your plans for the future and find what empowers you to live the life you desire. We believe everyone needs a midwife at every stage of their life.
